Liked Warm welcome on arrival and shown to the pitch. Beautifully kept site with ample space on the pitch. The pitch was fully service and no issues during stay, level pitch on hard standing with grass area and a picnic table. Due to the planning no is blocked from having amazing sea views and stunning sunsets in the evening. The pool area was spotless as to were the amenities.

Disliked It’s hard to find a negative really. Maybe the games room could be upgraded but that’s just being picky.

Liked Loved how close to the sea the park was. The views were incredible. We had a few good days weather wise and the day we had rain we were able to use the wonderfully warm swimming pool which was nice and quiet.

Disliked No bus stop nearby to get into Aberystwyth.

Liked What a lovely campsite. Clean quiet with helpful staff. I will definitely be returning.
The food van on Saturday served fresh freshly be a battered fish and chips and the best onion rings ever.

Disliked I didn’t use the Wi-Fi as you had to pay extra. I just use my own data it was no problem.

Liked The site is beautiful and immaculate. It is very well run and the staff are very helpful. The swimming pool is clean and warm. The views are stunning. One of the best sites that I have been on, I will definitely be back.

Liked Fabulous location very clean well run site, swimming pool showers and toilets spotlessly clean, free of charge washing machines and dryer,

Disliked Swimming pool opening times in the summer months should be kept open a bit longer than 5 pm, wasps nests we had three next to our caravan had to report this twice three of the children were stung by wasps. I know it’s not the fault of the site, but they should look around for them before they get out of hand.

We’re grateful for your feedback regarding the swimming pool and the wasps. Just to clarify, our open-air pool is available daily from 10am, and we close it in the early evening to help maintain a peaceful environment for all guests—especially those staying nearby. We understand that longer hours would be ideal during the summer months, and we’ll certainly take that into consideration for future planning.

As for the wasps, this season has seen an unusually high number across the region, largely due to them feeding on aphids in the surrounding vegetation. While there weren’t any nests near your pitch, we completely understand how disruptive their presence can be—especially when children are involved—and we’re truly sorry to hear about the stings. We’re actively monitoring the situation and exploring ways to reduce their impact while staying mindful of the environment.

It means a lot that you’d recommend us and plan to return. We look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable stay—with hopefully fewer winged visitors next time! 🐝
