Non-electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Booked as need to test out new camps can for the first time. This was the nearest place available that had trailers and you didn’t need to book for 2 nights. Turns out we stubbled on the this gem of a site, a bit of a drive to get to but well worth it.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Easy to find our spot, pitch spacious, well laid out, not close to next pitch.
Quiet, forest location. In tune with nature and codes of camping.
Warden was knowledgeable and very helpful.
Found forest paths easily for dog walks.
Plenty space for kids to play in sight of pitch.
Facilities well lit at night
Disliked Lack of showers, appreciate we knew this before going. Would be good to have if staying longer.
Bins and facilities at opposite ends of camp. Couple of bins by facilities would help. The rest were located at entry gate.
Road in, 2/3 mile of pretty lumpy single track compacted mud & stone.
Beware, pots n pans will rattle!

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked What an amazing place..its absolutely beautiful...we knew there were no showers before we arrived but washing in the sinks wasn't a problem...its better to take your own food as not many places to get supplies or to eat out...my fault for not reading you have to pay cash on arrival but the shop/post office in the village allows you to withdraw cash so that solved the problem. ..midges are to be expected...its Scotland after all and that's what happens but they didn't bother us too much..the phone signal was brilliant...better than when i stayed in Blackpool ...Will definitely be back

Excellent SIte
Non-electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
