  • Small family-run holiday park in the historic Moray town of Keith
  • Strathisla Distillery five minutes’ drive; Dufftown 20 minutes
  • Modern amenities; woodland hikes from site; pubs 15 minutes’ walk
Whisky lovers, listen up. Set in the scenic Isla Valley, Keith Caravan Park is a five-minute drive away from Strathisla Distillery in the historic Moray town of Keith, gateway to Speyside’s Malt Whisky Trail – and if that’s not enough, Scotland’s ‘Malt Whisky Capital’ of Dufftown (20 minutes’ drive) is home to Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries, both open for touring and tastings. Awarded Scotland’s first ‘Scots Toun’ accolade for promoting regional culture, Keith is proud of hosting the world’s only kilt-making school at Keith Kilt and Textile Centre (five minutes’ walk), as well as other less niche amenities including pubs, eateries and shops, all within 15 minutes’ walk of the holiday park. Family-friendly circular strolls in Dunnyduff Wood (20 minutes) lead to the pretty Falls of Tarnash (25 minutes), and can be accessed directly from the pitches. Handily set just off the main A96 between Aberdeen and Inverness, the site has modern facilities including a laundry facility, washing-up station and a modern facilities block with toilets, a shower and basins in individual cubicles.

What customers say

Campers love the neat grounds and top-notch private loos – spacious, clean, with hot water. Wardens and night watchman offer a friendly, helpful welcome. Peaceful, comfy site, good pitches with electric. One shower was cold, manager aware. Highly recommend for a chill holiday.

Fully-serviced grass pitch

Liked We were warmly greeted by an older man who seemed to be acting as a night watchman. We had a great pitch including an electricity hookup and were able to enjoy a relaxing dinner. The sanitary facilities were also really good—the water was hot, the shower was spacious, and you basically get a bathroom to yourself. The next morning, we had breakfast in the sun before moving on.

Disliked Nothing :-)
