Non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked We had a super stay at Pinkerton. Location was accurate and we had a warm welcome and introduction on arrival. The track is a little bumpy but some clearance on the car and a steady approach and you should be fine. You're fairly free to pick a suitable spot and there were different spots in the trees, by the pond to suit different tent sizes. A few friendly animals on site and some of the most gorgeous views of both the sea and nearby hills. Torch is a must as there is only moonlight during the night! We had a very peaceful night with only bird noise audible.
Bacon baps for the road were very tasty and we'd definitely explore the other food options when we go back!
Disliked We loved it all!!
