  • Holiday park with spectacular coastal views
  • Close to a nature reserve famed for its seabird colonies
  • Bar, lounge, indoor sports court and kids' club
Your eyes and mouth will widen as you take in the panorama at Eyemouth Holiday Park on the Scottish Borders: in one direction are the plunging cliffs of St Abbs Head, a 200-acre nature reserve famed for its seabird colonies, and in the other, the curving golden sands and harbour of a scenic seaside town. The park’s facilities include an indoor sports court, outdoor playground, Sparky’s kids' clubs for children aged up to 11, and the Driftwood complex, which houses a bar and lounge, amusements, and live entertainment at weekends. Guests also have free access to the indoor pool in the neighbouring town of Eyemouth, less than five minutes’ walk from the park.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Clean toilet & shower facilities. Powerful shower. Plenty toilets.
Right on the coastal walk to St Abbs Head. Only 5-10 mins walk into Eyemouth beach/Town. Fantastic restaurants in town. Didn’t try the restaurant on site but handy to have it there. Friendly reception staff. Spacious pitch for campervan with electric & water to each pitch.

Disliked: No privacy planting/hedge between the pitches.
Every car leaving the site had to drive by this area as it’s one way traffic.
Overlooked by a lot of caravans.
Would have liked WiFi.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Toilet, shower & washing facilities were close by. Electric hook up & water right in site. Flat gravel surface. Close to cliff walk was good. Didn't use leisure facilities that were available. Staff friendly & polite.

Disliked: Grass too small for awning & encroaching on neighbour.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Complex and staff were great, friendly, helped made my son pancakes when they had just opened up cos we were cold outside. Definitely going back!

Disliked: Got a bit lost in the dark and rain trying to go back to the main section, would also like the touring section to be more near the sea for a view.

Local attractions

Eyemouth’s harbour is home to a busy fishing port and fishmarket, and is also regularly frequented by seals and swans. The town has eateries and shops, an art gallery, a museum and maritime centre, and trips out on glass-bottomed boats in the warmer months. The park is well-placed for walkers and cyclists who want to explore the Berwickshire and Northumberland coastlines; this being Scotland, there are plenty of golf courses around too. The walled border town of Berwick-on-Tweed is only 15 minutes away by car and has a good range of shops, plus a military barracks and museum, and a splendid railway viaduct. Venture a little south into Northumberland and you could visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or Bamburgh Castle, both well worth the trip.
