What customers say
This friendly, family-run farm campsite offers a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful rural surroundings, just a short drive from Largs. Visitors praised the clean, modern facilities and the opportunity to interact with a variety of friendly farm animals, which was a highlight for kids. The on-site food van was also a popular addition. While most reviews were overwhelmingly positive, some noted limited phone signal and a few mentioned minor issues with pitch allocation and bathroom cleanliness during busy periods.

We liked all the farm animals…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked We liked all the farm animals especially the goats - all used to human company. This is a working farm, so one must expect a little dirt but there needs to be a dedicated cleaning team for the toilets and shower areas to get the underlying areas clean. The grass pitch areas were very nice and grass well tended and staff were nice and friendly.
Disliked We didn't like the motorhome area which is where we were, with it's large 35mm gravel. This was black and broken down by the motorhomes driving over it making it very dirty and not easy to walk on...had to bath the dog when we got home!
The farm is well out of Largs and one would certainly need some transport to get into town.

Location nice, farm animals wandering freely…
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Location nice, farm animals wandering freely are enjoyed by the children.
Disliked All pitches are on a hill, we couldn't get remotely level even with the blocks under our motorhome wheels.
Toilets/showers were filthy - giving the impression they hadn't been properly cleaned for the whole season. We've been travelling around Scotland since July and these are by far the dirtiest facilities we've seen.
Shame, because this place has potential to be a nice little site.

Stunning site for family with young children
Electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked Amazing campsite just outside of Largs. Great if you are travelling with a young family because of all the animals on the farm. My two sons loved the horses, donkeys, chickens and Shetland Ponies. Katie and her family are really friendly and very helpful everything. Stunning location, surrounded by hills.
So peaceful and quiet throughout the entire stay. If you are there for a weekend, the food van is a must for breakfast and dinner.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and the owners were very nice.

Liked lovely, family friendly run farm. Nice flat pitches and pretty much all of them have electric points. About 2.5 miles from the closest town which has free parking in certain places. Fires and BBQ’s are allowed and I think you can rent one if you don’t have.
They have a little food place there which I think only runs on Friday through to Sunday. The brisket and haggis tacos were stunning and you get two big ones for £8 which I personally thought were great value for money. However, the monkfish curry isn’t quite what it says, if you like fries drowned in chip shop curry sauce with two quite nice lumps of monkfish placed on top then that dish is for you.
We stayed for 3 nights and we found it very pleasant. We probably wouldn’t go back again as there’s plenty more about but we did throughly enjoy our stay. Very good value for money!!
Disliked The showers and toilets aren’t the cleanest. They properly were 2 years ago but aren’t really kept up. The toilet door is kept open all night so the amount of flies and creatures in there make it feel dirty. The lovely goats are in the toilets eating all the tissue out the bin which can’t be good for them but the cleaner thought it was funny. I found it very odd.
