What customers say
This adults-only spot gets props for its peaceful vibe & spacious, flat pitches (many with lake views!). Clean facilities, friendly owners, great scenery with wildlife, and nearby village shops/pubs are big pluses. Unisex loos & occasional Wi-Fi hiccups are minor. Mostly cracking reviews, with many keen to come back!

Excellent adults only site, level pitches, friendly staff, pretty site
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The fact that the site was adults only with only 5 level hardstanding pitches and which overlooked the lake with a unspoilt view. A very quiet, relaxed and chilled site. The owners were very friendly and helpful too. The facilities were basic but clean

Great adults only site for a quiet rural break
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The spaciousness and peace of the site in a quiet rural setting. A lot of thought has gone into the design and appearance of the communal facilities. Pitches level and well set apart looking down towards the lake. Although we had no need of their use, there was a communal fridge and freezer, and even a herb garden. Availability of a really good village store 400 metres away a bonus.

Excellent adult only site. Clean/tidy and friendly staff.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked What is there not to like! An amazing little site with nature reserve and pond. Communal areas very clean and tidy. Toilet block is unisex, but not an issue. Showers are lovely and good space to be able to dry/change in. Communal fridge/freezer and washing up area. Well kept site with first field for hardstanding/EHP and small area towards back of field for tents, a further field behind for tents & currently putting up some Glamping pods. Very peaceful environment. Staff/owners very friendly and helpful. Local shop is a little walk away, with 2 pubs in each direction, further along (can walk but quite a stroll). Perfect location for visiting attractions and quaint villages/towns.
Disliked Really nothing but just advice; if you use the furthest field, its a bit of walk to the toilet/shower blocks. Make sure to take a torch, there is lighting by the blocks but low lighting. Lovely to watch the night sky tho!
Be aware that no cars are allowed by tents, but have wheelbarrows you can use to transport back/forth.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Had the very nice field at the back to myself on a Tuesday and Wednesday night in my tent. Nice shower. Didn't mind carting things from my car to the field in one of the wheelbarrows they provide.

I almost feel like keeping this spot a secret!
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We chose an unpowered tent-site it a flat grassy field behind a stand of trees. It was peaceful and private and cool - we pitched up under a big old oak.
A bit of a walk to the showers and loos, but that was our choice! We could have camped closer.
Lovely lake with Canada geese, surrounded by wildflowers and some well placed seating. The wheelbarrows provided to get our gear from the car to the camp-site were super handy. I can't really fault it!
