Hillside Campsite

We are so very fortunate at Hillside, well hidden quietly in the forest yet centrally situated for Bournemouth, Poole, Brownsea Island, Jersey, Swanage, Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle, Dancing Ledge, Kimmeridge, Wareham, Blandford, Wimborne, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Fordingbridge, Burley Lyndhurst, Beaulie, Lymington (and the Isle of Wight), Christchurch and Mudeford Quay. So whether you want to explore the New Forest or the National Trust properties in Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire, you can be there in a little over 20 minutes (which, with the price of fuel, keeps the moths in). Alternatively, just a gentle 15-minute stroll southwards through this beautiful forest, in Verwood town, there's 'The Hub' (busy entertainments, cinema, shows, etc), a museum, the Crane golf course, three super pubs, Indian, Italian, Chinese restaurants, cream teas, street cafes, brilliant and yummy butchers, hairdressers, florists, Morrisons, a Co-op, fish and chip shop and a farmers' market. Westwards there's the Forge, Woodlands, Edmondsham House and Victorian walled garden and a Norman Church; then north to Cranborne past the King's Hill and pottery to Lord Cranborne's shoppe and the Sheaf of Arrows pub - we could go on and on.
