What customers say
Spacious, friendly, well-run campsite, great value. Praised for clean loos & hot showers. Near steam railway, Corfe Castle, Swanage. Food shack popular. Basic facilities & occasional shower queues mentioned, but overall very positive, many plan to return.

Stunning views, safe & chilled with all amenities & cafe
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Large open space, some shaded areas, views of the steam railway carriage, the valley overlooks the beautiful ridge of the Purbecks. Very chilled and lovely owner makes passing visits so you feel safe. Plenty of water taps and assessable loos, washing up and showers. Cafe on site, plenty to drink and eat.

Overall a pleasant stay, friendly staff but some annoying travellers.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked 1. Location: Close to everything, including playground, train station, coast, town centre, etc. as we drive around.
2. Atmosphere: Chilled, the owner Annabella and travellers there appeared happy and easy to go.
3. Open space: It is huge.
Disliked 1. Toilets: Well, just personal preference. The toilets are just to primary - maybe need a more modernised one.
2. Some night owls: Some people from nearby tents kept chatting and laughing still 1 AM and some other people woke at 6 AM, as a result, I hardly slept on a Friday night. Annoying.

Liked has a great location just next to the swanage rail line which makes for a nice journey into Swanage. Also very close to studland and harry's rocks. Also a great price compared to other campsites. They also had a food shack which was also very handy. The toilets are very clean and smell pretty good considering!
