It’s beaches and walks galore from Cottage Farm Camping, just outside the South Devon National Landscape. On the edge of Loddiswell, this easily accessible site is 20 minutes’ drive away from a reel of beaches, including Bigbury on Sea, South Milton Sands, Hope Cove and Mothecombe. There are a fair few golf courses and National Trust properties in the local area. Plus, with Kingsbridge 10 minutes’ drive away and Plymouth 40 minutes’ drive away, town life isn’t too far either – a great situation for things like restaurants, cafés, shopping and the likes (not forgetting seafood in Salcombe, 20 minutes’ drive away). Those of you who are fans of walking will have a good run of Dartmoor National Park’s moors, 20 minutes’ drive away, or the splendid walks along the river Avon that are accessible on foot from the site and run through the National Landscape. There are a number of local cafés which have stunning views of the surrounding countryside too. The site itself has large and level-grounded pitches with plenty of space for groups or for dogs (on leads) to sit with you. The facilities at your disposal include compost toilets, an LPG gas shower available for an additional cost and a washing-up station.

Cottage Farm Camping praised for peace, views, & friendly hosts (esp. Rob). Easy to find, spacious, affordable, clean facilities w/ hot showers. Great base for exploring. Minor mention of grass cuttings post-mowing/rain, but overwhelmingly positive & many keen to return.

Lovely little site, we had a really quiet night and a visit from the chickens in the morning.

Liked Lovely visit was met at the carpark by the owners son who Sked me if I was camping then run off to get his dad he showed me around gas shower and compost toilets all very clean I was told I could camp anywhere I asked if I could could park and pitch play field as it had shade and they said yes lovely and flat great pitch

Liked Absolute little gem of a campsite this. Owners were really friendly. Me and my girlfriend stayed there with our two dogs and it's perfect for a cosy little getaway with the family. Facilities are more than enough if you want to keep the camping feeling as well a shower and toilet provided with washing facilities and an overall pleasant stay and welcome.

Liked Absolutely everything! Beautiful, quiet location with stunning views, plenty of space, and a fantastic shower and compost loos. Good recycling, good location for exploring south Devon plus the owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!

Liked Clean facilities, very friendly owners who were happy to share knowledge of the local area. Plenty of room for playing games, they do have a small football pitch but others wise no specific activities, but we knew that when booking and we always bring our own. Plenty of space in the field. Very quiet when we stayed which was nice. Roaming chickens and owners cats that were very friendly and curious and spent a lot of time around our van which our son enjoyed.
Close to local beaches.. we went to 3 and woodlands family theme park
