What customers say
Clean, well-kept park with great, modern facilities. Staff are friendly & helpful. Peaceful spot, near Hele Bay beach. Kids love the play area. Private, level pitches. Occasional WiFi glitches & a bit of a climb back from Ilfracombe are minor points. Most guests want to come back!

Good value for money. Basic but comfortable.
Snug camping pod
Liked Clean, warm and comfortable. The pod was a welcome retreat after a long walk from contisbury. Worth every penny and would recommend it to anyone walking the coast path. Word of warning. It’s a long way from lynmouth and the last section from coombe Martin to ilfracoombe is longer than it looks. Make sure you have enough daylight if you choose to stop here and ignore the advice from the SWCP guide book.
Disliked Nothing.

Wonderful site. Clean facilities, tidy campsite, friendly staff.
Fully-serviced gravel motorhome pitch (small)
Liked I have never seen a shower/toilet block so immaculately clean. The layout is also really good with the whole set up (shower, toilet and sink) in one cubicle.
The pitches are very generous and well maintained.

Excellent site with modern clean facilities and friendly staff
Fully-serviced gravel motorhome pitch (small)
Liked Fantastic campsite with lots of handy amenities. The facilities are fantastic, modern and clean and the showers were lovely and large so lots of space to get dressed after. My son loved the park on site and the little nature trail. It felt nice and sheltered from the high winds we were having. Friendly staff who gave us a map and directions to the town.
Disliked Nothing!

Nice but owners should test the facilities for experience/practicality
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked Site was very clean, good sized pitches and very friendly staff.
Disliked Showers had a push button system which was so short it was ridiculous. I'm all for saving water, but to effectively wash my hair I had to keep one hand on the button and wash it with one hand! The water was also barely tepid - definitely couldn't be described as warm, so while the facilities looked nice, showering wasn't a pleasant experience in October.

Disliked Facilities clean but several of sinks in ladies shower block didn’t work.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked Secluded site near Ilfracombe town centre with good shower facilities. Situated in a valley as the title suggests with a steam running through the park so there was a pleasant sound of running water to accompany the beautiful surroundings. One of the most welcoming sites I have stayed at thanks to a great team.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. It's good to hear that you liked the shower facilities. The individual cubicles are really popular with our guests, providing all the things you need in your own private space. We hope to see you again.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked Great holiday park, spacious pitches and very well maintained..the entire park is very well looked after and with a very nice layout. Facilities are very clean and loved the individual cubicles with toilet sink and shower or just toilet and sink. Tip : make sure you have the access code with you all the time to avoid walking all the way up to the toilet and realise you don't have the code 😉 Some pitches are further away from the toilets so something to check on the map before checking in (pitches 10-11-12-13 that range are the furthest from the toilets , same with pitches around range 40s-53 . Views are pretty at pitches 49'53 though). Lovely nature trail directly from the campsite and Hele beach 1 min drive or around 10min walking. Lovely cafe at the beach with yummy breakfast (closed for the season from end of September).
