What customers say
Nice, big, tidy park with loads of space. Staff are super friendly. Lots for families, like a pool and play areas. Some folks found it a bit noisy, extras pricey, and a few things could do with a refresh. Great spot for North Devon sights.

There is a very nice bar…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked There is a very nice bar and restaurant on site and the swimming pool is a real asset
Disliked Our pitch was very unlevel and our chocks were not big enough to right this so we spent all weekend in an unlevel motorhome which is not great when you pay for hardstanding. The one thing you would expect is for it to be level.
There is very little signage around the site so finding our pitch number (which was painted on the ground and covered in wet grass cuttings) was almost impossible.
We got lost on the way out with no signage for EXIT which would have been handy.
There was grass cutting taking place and the grass cuttings were everywhere in thick clumps all over the paved areas and therefore made it from peoples shoes into the toilet and shower areas which was very unpleasant. Wet grass cuttings also got into our motorhome which again was avoidable if they had been cleared from the paved areas.
We were pitched at the bottom of a hill next to a hedged area. The walk to the toilet block would have been made much easier had there been a pedestrian path straight across the field as opposed to having to use the road which takes twice as long to walk as it takes you to either the right or left of the block. Walking on the grass was very messy due to the clumped cuttings.
There was only one hand dryer in the toilet block which was huge.

Facilities were great. It was out…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Facilities were great. It was out of season so nice a quiet
Disliked Pitch unlevel so fridge wasn’t it’s usual efficient self
Sadly a neighbouring van felt it ok to leave bags of dog poo scattered around their van along with what looked like rubbish, which lowered the tone

Great place to stay, especially if weather had been better
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Lovely walks from site, very clean amenities, staff very friendly and helpful, bakery and small shop on site, crazy golf, arcade, most pitches were level, and site was well kept, also a bar but we didn’t use
Disliked Weather was awful for the whole week we stayed, but obviously not the sites fault. Not a real problem, but the timer for the lights in the showers went off early in the morning so we had to shower in the dark, we did mention to warden who put timer forward, but lights still went off at 8:00am and with the awful weather it was still quite dark in the showers.
dislike was the afternoon before we left a group arrived and had very noisy motorcycles, which they rode up and down the site on numerous occasions, as we were leaving following day we didn’t complain to the wardens.

Will not stay here again.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The pitch was a good hard standing. Po was good, but expensive for children.
Disliked Showers were cold, shower blocks not cleaned regularly. Stable bar was in need of an update - quite dirty. Food was not good, steak chewy, no mustard or mushrooms. On Monday 8/9 they started digging out/preparing a field above our pitch for more static caravans - diggers, dumper trucks and lorries driving up and down all day from 7:30am. Very noisy and left a lot of mud. I paid for internet connectivity, which was hit and miss, then broke completely on Friday 12/9 and was out for 48 hours. Reception did nothing to help. Site has gone downhill since Park Holidays took over.

Not great.
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely location and great sized pitches.
Disliked cold showers, dirty facilities with no toilet roll and half the toilet door locks missing, crazy golf course in poor condition meaning you loose your ball half way round, arcade room where nothing works, swimming pool closed more than open with numerous excuses given, unhelpful staff, bar food ok but would be better with proper chips rather than the school cafeteria ones they currently use, beer was flat with staff swilling the glass to get any sort of head. overall very poor. Chose this site because of all the extras advertised for the kids but couldn't use any of them. will not be returning
