What customers say
Clean, well-kept site with big, flat pitches. Staff are lekker and helpful. Ablutions always praised. Great spot for exploring, with shops and pubs nearby. Kids' play area and dog field are a hit. Mostly peaceful, though some mention noise. Access via narrow lanes.

What a great site
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked A lovely site in a great location for visiting the far South West of Cornwall. A big site with generous pitches. Nice clean toilets & showers. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Very peaceful with nice views & in close walking distance of St Buryan village & a nice farm shop & cafe.
If you have a big motorhome, like ours, beware that the site entrance is very narrow & if coming in from the A30 from Crows-An-Wra, you may have to shunt a bit to get through the gateway.
Disliked Not really a dislike but the free WiFi is a bit weak & doesn't quite reach the pitches. However, there's a TV room one can sit in if WiFi is needed desperately.

Two-Night Stay in Cornwall – Peaceful, Practical, but a Few Bugs
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We stayed at this campsite for two nights and overall had a really pleasant experience. The ground was impressively flat, which made it super easy to find a good spot to get the van set up without any hassle. The site itself felt spacious and open, with lovely views and a clean, tidy atmosphere that added to the sense of calm.
Disliked The only downside for me was the bathroom facilities—they felt a bit dated and could use some modernising. Also, I ran into quite a few mosquitoes in the gents’ toilets, which was frustrating, especially since I seem to be a magnet for them!
That said, if you're looking for a peaceful spot with great views and practical setup for vans and tents, this place definitely ticks a lot of boxes.

A lovely site in a great location.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked The pitches were lovely and spacious and the site itself peaceful and well maintained. It was a short walk to the village shop and a pub which served great meals.
Disliked The toilet block was a bit dated but the worse thing was the showers! They were the old push type which would have been ok if the water stayed on for more than about 20 seconds! It made hair washing VERY difficult!

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Lovely site near to a local shop with excellent provisions a lovely pub meals were excellent . Site was clean well maintained toilets and showers very clean
Disliked Unfortunately that weekend was the annual surf competition which apparently involves a rave that went on all through the night untill 6am a couple of miles away apparently , so we had no sleep and was not informed of this either at time of booking or on the night .
I have emailed the site and suggested they inform people who book that weekend next year as it’s an annual event or individuals knock on caravan doors and inform them
Unfortunately we had a 6 hour drive the next day without sleep the night before and felt we had wasted our money for that night .
We have had an apology but no offer of a refund
