  • Glamping on a re-wilding meadow with spectacular views in Cornwall
  • A 20-minute drive to Dartmoor National Park; Lydford Gorge 30 minutes
  • Woodburners and proper beds; communal showers; tearoom over the road
With what looks like the whole of Cornwall laid out around it, hilltop Sunnyside Eco Glamping near Callington offers up luxurious bell tents, with an individual design and bags of space. Plus some truly spectacular views of course – and a spotless set of sustainability credentials, thanks to it being eco-friendly in every way possible, and set in a re-wilding meadow. Each tent comes equipped with everything you need for a relaxed stay, and has an individual design featuring a proper double bed, cosy armchairs and plenty of storage for your bits and bobs. A woodburner ensures you stay warm and cosy even on the chilliest of English summer days. A communal outdoor shower, composting toilet and washing-up area are a minute’s stroll from the tents; please be sure to use only sustainable washing products. Please note, a car is needed to make the most of your stay, as the campsite is a little bit tucked away. Hopefully that will only add to the peace and tranquility of your stay. Barbecue on site or whizz across the road to the family-run tearoom – it’s open all day.

Micro Barn lodge (hot tub)

Liked: Friendly welcome
Amazing views
Hot tub
Mini complementary hamper
Banners and display put up to celebrate my birthday.

Disliked: Paid over £1k for the week and we weren’t provided with hand soap in the bathroom we had to go and buy some.
No guest info book which would have been useful for trouble shooting with the hot tub.
Had to buy a new kettle to use as the one provided didn’t make drinks taste right.
Not a lot of storage for clothes and a spiders nest was in one of the bedside cupboards which we noticed on unpacking.
