  • Superbly located Surrey campsite with easy motorway access
  • Thorpe Park, Windsor Castle and Legoland Windsor within 30 mins' drive
  • On the banks of the River Thames, with Thames Path access
What a handy camping spot this is… Laleham Camping Club has easy access to the M3 and M25 motorways, it’s close to Heathrow airport and Staines railway station is only about 10 minutes’ drive away for easy jaunts to the capital. On top of all that, there are all sorts of attractions within easy reach, including Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Windsor Castle and Legoland Windsor. And if that all sounds a bit exhausting, it’s good to know that the location within London’s protected Green Belt means you’ll have peaceful surroundings for relaxing on site. The River Thames runs alongside, giving you access to the Thames Path for walks and bike rides, or to the water for kayaking, paddleboarding and swims. The nearest major urban centre is Staines, accessible by car, bus or a walk along the riverbank and with a good collection of shops and restaurants, plus a cinema. Closer to home, Laleham village is 10 minutes’ stroll away, and has a convenience store and a choice of three pubs. The folk that run this Surrey site haven’t just relied on their location, though – they’ve made sure the place is a comfortable place to stay, with a good number of facilities including a launderette, free hot showers and handy extras including hairdryers and shaver points. Chillout time is well spent here too – there’s a small play park with sandpit in the centre of the site, and a wet-weather room with Sky TV, a pool table, table tennis and a dartboard. Next door in Laleham Park there’s an outdoor gym, a bigger play park and plenty of space to play games or walk dogs.

A friendly, well-kept camp with top facilities, loved for its river spot & local attractions. Staff are helpful, loos are clean, pitches big. Mostly great stays, though planes can be a bit noisy. Good value, great for families.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Love that we can take our caravan and pitch up to visit all the Merlin attractions nearby. This is our second year doing this and we love the site is child friendly with own park and sandpit. Lovely friendly staff and the quiz on a Saturday evening was brilliant touch.

Disliked The sinks in the toilets but that’s being picky!

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Everything about this campsite was perfect.
Stayed for 2 nights with my 6yr old Grandson for his first camping trip.
Walks along the river great for the dog early morning and the large park next door was perfect for longer runs.
Playground in middle of campsite was great with plenty to keep his interest, climbing frames and sandpit, football goals etc. made him one happy camper 😊

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked The site was good with the toilet and showers were good.

Disliked Only twocriticismswas that the gates were locked at 2000hrs and if you went out in a motorhome you had to be back before that time. And the other was the markings of each pitch.
