What customers say
Nice, tranquil park with big, flat sites & great loos. Owners get rave reviews for being friendly. Good for pub walks and exploring. Watch out for queues at peak times, and some road noise. Strict rules on fires and noise.

Fantastic Campsite and Wonderful Hosts
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I stayed at the campsite as a solo bike traveller and had a wonderful experience. Nestled in beautiful surroundings between Faversham and Sittingbourne, it's a peaceful spot with excellent facilities and well-kept pitches. Graham and Liz are fantastic hosts who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
Graham also pointed me towards a shortcut to the local pub, which was perfect after a day of cycling! It's just a five-minute walk away and serves excellent food alongside a great selection of beers. As a Shepherd Neame pub, it also has the fantastic Spitfire and Master Brew on tap. 🍺
Disliked The only reason I gave 9 rather than 10 stars is that there are only two toilets on site. That wasn't a major issue during my stay, but it's worth bearing in mind when the campsite is busy. There's also no Wi-Fi, although that may well be a bonus for anyone looking to switch off and enjoy a bit of off-grid relaxation! 😊

From the manager: Hello Sarah, thank you for your lovely review and glad you enjoyed the Chequers pub. You didn't find the toilet on the other side of the building, there are 2 washrooms, a washing up area with 2 sinks, 3 toilets and 3 showers. There are always going to be times when a large group turn up to use the facilities but we seldom see any queues.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Love this chilled out no frills campsite. Great sized pitches. Amazing that with only 2 toilets you never have to queue but we hàve been several times and never quèued. Liz keeps the toilets immaculate, she is there several times a day.

A site where the owners obviously care about their customers
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Excellent campsite, beautifully maintained with marvellous spacious pitches that are laid out so allow plenty of free room to play Frisbee etc.
Grass was kept nice and short, showers were hot, clean and looked after. Toilets and washing up station was perfect.
If you pitch at the far end of the site its a (leisurely) few minute walk to the toilet block.
The owners make you feel right at home and and always available, with fire pits and logs in stock ready to purchase.
Disliked That I had to go back home!
