Welcome to Rusty Meadow – a fun, fuss-free pop-up campsite in the heart of the Isle of Wight! Set in 3 acres of peaceful Godshill countryside, we offer relaxed, back-to-basics camping for tents and campervans (sorry, no caravans — planning says no!). With composting toilets, drinking water, and a solar-powered USB charging point, we’ve got all the essentials covered — just no showers and no frills. Rusty Meadow is all about simple stays, starry skies, and that old-school camping feel. We’re just a 10-minute stroll from Godshill village with its lovely tea rooms, pubs, The Model Village and the inclusive Godshill Play Park. You’ll also find brilliant walking and cycling trails right on our doorstep, including the route to the Worsley Monument with some of the island’s best views. 🐝 Just so you know: we do have bees living happily in Rusty Hollow, our wildflower meadow at the far end of the farm, They’re a good distance from the pitches, and keep themselves to themselves, but we like to let our guests know in case of allergies. Families, small groups and quiet campers are very welcome. If you're after loud music, late nights and party vibes... we’re probably not your pitch. It is best if you enter Sheepwash Lane from the Godshill end as the turn into the site is a little wider. The lane is a typical rural farm lane so please be mindful of walkers, cyclists, horseriders and drive slowly, thanks so much!

    We ask for a check out time of around 11am with arrivals after 2pm so we can check the pitch and make sure it's ready for new campers! We are very happy to chat with you if you need some flexibility around this so just ask!
