What customers say
This campsite offers peace and quiet, with big, neat pitches. Owners are friendly and helpful, facilities are clean, and it's easy to get to walks and transport. While most love the calm vibe and great views, some think showers need upgrades and more frequent cleaning. Still, most guests want to come back.

Non-electric grass and earth pitch

Disliked Showers could have been a little hotter

alles gut
Electric grass and earth pitch

Clean site, with flat pitches.😁
Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked We had a lovely time staying at peel House farm! We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and were given a choice of where to pitch up. 😁 The toilets and showers were always nice and clean, and the water warm at no extra cost.
It was lovely and quiet on the site there is a bit of traffic noise from the road but I found when I wanted to go to sleep and earplug worked well! It's also stopped me hearing my partners snoring. 🤣. If you want a lot of things on site this is not for you but if you like a simple quiet site it's wonderful.
Great if you want to cycle up and down the cuckoo trail which is within a very short distance or to walk!

Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Quiet location. Good size pitch. Staff friendly. No main reception office but mobile number on door answered promptly
Disliked Toilet and shower facilities need improvement. Showers not cleaned very often and water did not drain away quickly enough. No ventilation in shower blocks, if shower door not left open by previous occupant then cubicle hot and damp.

Liked Clean, tidy, nice walk/path to the local town accessible from the back of the campsite.
Disliked Shower button had to be held in. Nearest electric hookups didn't work. Only stayed for one night, so not really an issue.
