What customers say
A well-loved spot, folks rave about the friendly staff, big, flat pitches, and lovely South Downs views. Facilities are spotless, with hot showers. A pizza van's a bonus! Great for walks and coast trips. Can get a bit packed, and washing-up space is tight when busy, but it's chilled, clean, and good value. We'll be back!

Festival vibe. Food van. Very busy.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Festival vibe with very useful food truck for pizza and bacon baps in the morning. (Think this is just weekends and peak times). Although busy the site atmosphere was good.
Disliked No marked pitches so bit of a free for all. One of those sites where you are nervous about people driving around your tent after you have gone to bed. Very busy and not enough facilities for the number of campers. No soap in toilets. It was our most expensive site but not sure why tbh. Described as eco but no evidence of that really.

Excellent place to stay.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Very clean.
Basic amenities, but that is all you need here!
Fire pits for rental with heat proof mat for the grass and an ash bin.
Toilets and showers cleaned regularly and always stocked with loo roll.
The weekend pizza & brekkie truck is great. All the pizzas are hand made and they also make their own dough.
The lads who run it are so welcoming and friendly. We have been here 4 years running. Will definitely be back next year.
Disliked Not a dislike but a suggestion for the showers. Having a squeegee mop to push the water out of the shower cubicle after you've used it clipped on the wall would be handy.

Liked Really great site. Huge level field with lovely views of the South Downs. Facilities are great - lovely showers! The field is huge but when busy it does get very crowded around the edges and my neighbours were very close so not much privacy but everyone was lovely so not a problem. You can walk from site to the hills you can see within an hour - Folkington hill and Chrome hill are beautiful walks and well worth it - spectacular 360 degree views. Despite quite a busy weekend the site was extremely peaceful and relaxing.
