What customers say

Low House Farm is a top-notch, adult-only spot for peace amidst stunning country. Pitches are usually flat with water & elec. Great WiFi. They rave about the enclosed dog field and the little brook. Easy trips to Yorkshire Dales/Lake District. Limited facilities are upfront, but the quiet and value get top marks.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked Very clean and quiet site. Not many people on the site so it was very spacious.
Owner came to check in and was lovely.

No services however we knew that it was only water available so no bother. We were very happy as the description was accurate. so no surprises.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked The site was really quiet with four tourers and us.
The location was great for exploring the Dales and had all we needed for a comfortable overnight stay.
We especially liked the dog exercise field for our two pooches.
Although the site doesn’t have toilet facilities it did have a waste facility and fresh running water.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely green space, birds, sheep, cows and lovely Robin our host farmer who kindly let us stay late.
Other likeminded adult camper vanners and caravanners.
Peaceful night’s sleep.
Basic needs catered for: drinking water, waste disposal point, rubbish recycling bins.
Little brook running along border of the field.

Disliked Road noise in the day is easily tolerable

Local attractions

Mad about wildlife? Perhaps surprisingly, Ingleborough Cave (20 minutes' drive) is high up there, as aside from the cave itself, there’s a nature trail above ground. It’s just one of many geological hotspots around here, as White Scar Cave (10 minutes) is within striking distance too, and this one’s the longest show cave in Britain. Don’t worry too much about getting lost though, as there are guided tours. It might seem like Mother Nature’s showing off her feathers elsewhere too, especially at Malham Cove (40 minutes), where there’s a large limestone cliff in the shape of an amphitheatre and at Barbon Beck (10 minutes), a natural swimming hole with a waterside walk. Walking’s all the rage in the Lake District National Park (20 minutes), of course, but one route that hiking keen beans will likely want to conquer is the 24-mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge over Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. As for some manmade entertainment, a look around the market town of Settle (20 minutes) or a trip to the local open-air swimming pool (10 minutes) will surely do for a leisurely afternoon out.
