Liked: What a fabulous little gem! It reminded me of camping as a child, campfires, chatting, friendly atmosphere, everyone joining in. A great set up and immaculately looked after, everything you could need for a real camping experience, we will definitely return. Its a 10 min walk downhill to the village with shops/pub/butchers etc, but set in woodland so you feel remote whilst there. Very friendly owners, a great find.

Liked: Very clean and quiet. All the extras you need like plugs and a kettle if we were stuck. Fire Pits available and free. Shower and toilets very clean. Football kick around area. Beautiful scenery. Went to visit a waterfall and walked in the local area. Owner Mark was fantastic!

Liked: Lovely little site in a beautiful setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The site and facilities were very clean and we have the pizzas on the Friday night which were really nice. We would definitely stay again.
Disliked: There were only 2 unisex toilets and one of them was in a cubicle with the only shower so there could be a bit of a wait.

As we are working on a carbon neutral position for the site, one of our projects is to provide additional composting toilets to our existing ones along with another shower. Hopefully we will be able to make this suitable for all abilities. Our priority at the moment is to install photovoltaic, wind and poo gas electricity generation so that we can provide educational environmental courses to the community and schools as they are our primary focus.
