Liked: Really great campsite! The car park is near the main building (where the cafe/pizza/bar and main toilets are located). Staff helped us take all our stuff from the car park to the pitch (using a trailer) which was really helpful! There are also more toilets/showers nearer to the pitches. Pizza’s were fantastic and we also had breakfast at the cafe which was nice. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and the staff were all brilliant. The pitches are a really good size and nicely spaced apart. The views are lovely and it was a quiet/child friendly site. Highly recommend, we’ve already booked to go again!

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Everything. Started with very friendly welcome then camping gear taken to pitch by quad and a full explanation of the site and facilities. The cafe food is really good and turns to making quality pizza in the evening. There is also a great little bar in the evening. Plenty of seating at cafe and great views over the marina. Lovely watching the children play safely as no traffic on site except the quads. Definitely recommend.
Disliked: Nothing

Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked: great location, friendly site, host and all staff can’t do enough to help you. good pitches. The bar and tea rooms are clean and food/drink is excellent. The prices for food and drink was very good. We enjoyed are stay and will go back again soon.
Nice to sit by the marina having an evening drink.
Disliked: main shower block needs more showers/toilets.Although the sheds scattered around with showers worked well, needs more space to dress.

It’s a beautiful place to stay as it is quiet and chilled. There are showers and washing up facilities on site that are well maintained and checked throughout the day.
We are always made welcome. I would certainly recommend this site.
