What customers say
A lekker farm stay with gorgeous views & animals. Facilities mostly clean but need some TLC. Handy for local spots & exploring. Great value & vibe, but a few grumbles about noise & cleanliness (especially across the road).

Perfect site for those wanting a simple camping trip away.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Amazing location, surrounded by animals. The place felt safe so could let my 9 year old go to the goats and cows without having to worry. It was the perfect place to take her camping for the 1st time. Facilities are nothing fancy but perfect for what you need, plenty of toilets for the size of the site, decent shower facilities and even a kettle in the washing up area incase you forgot yours. Loved the place!
Disliked Lack of lighting in the toilets.

Lovely family environment, we'd definitely want to stay again!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We only came to stay for one night unfortunately, but from our one night we discovered what a lovely site it is! We were very lucky to see a variety of animals on our stay, which our five year old absolutely loved! Everything was clean, very easy to contact the site owner as we arrived a little later than expected and they were happy for us using a car tent for our stay and made sure our visit was as expectedon check out. We plan to come back for a longer visit and bringing our older children also. It felt like a safe environment, there is a road to cross to some of the facilities (Inc kettle, microwave, sinks for dishes) but not a problem for us. It wasn't far to drive to meet with my sister who lives nearby. Very central for getting places when driving. Great price as well! We were very happy my mum recommended this site to us!

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Really nice quiet secluded spot. Good walks and countryside. Easy walk into village with good pubs/food. Pre book recommended. If not Dominos deliver.
Toilets are good and functional.
Disliked Being knit picky, my only thing is a freshen up of buildings and signs.

Liked ***1st time Camping in a tent***
As our 1st time camping in a tent, me and my boys loved how open and quiet the site was, lovely views, woodland walks, cows, goats and chickens.
Loved having a fire to roast Marshmallows.
Very easy to get to, friendly owners. We would definitely come again.
Disliked No power (but we managed)
Shower block and washing up area over the road (just a bit hard if a lonely parent and young children, again I managed well)
Toilet block on camp site non powered (only solar lights, just remember a torch)

On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would return.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very relaxed site and been able to use a fire pit was a bonus.
Disliked The toilets in the field are quite smelly and not very clean even for a wild camping site. The main toilets and showers near the farm are better but could do with a bit of tlc.
