Bolbec Manor Campsite

Liked Pitches mixed in with bushes etc meant a cosy feeling to the park.
We got held up so arrived around 6pm - no problem from the management.
Showers were clean and hot and I got used to the light going out every 20 seconds or so.
Lots of drinking water points

Disliked Maybe could do with a (more obvious) sign outside. First we zoomed past, then did a U turn and stopped at the pub. The pub directed us to a gate "push the button to be let in", but no button. Venturing through the gate I was met and led to pitch. No problem.
Showers- nowhere to put shampoo bottle other than floor ( a long way down when you are 79).

Liked Nice staff, and the pitch was good

Disliked Toilets not clean, a lot of noise from traffic

Disliked Would be lovely if there was a little park for children

Liked Campsite was nice and private goid views depending what pitch you got , there was a pub next door and it was decent overall the campsite is good

Disliked No lock on toilet door no hand-wash thought it was overpriced

Liked Lovely campsites with beautiful view across the Pennines! Facilities were great and very clean.

Liked Proximity to the pub,lovely walking ,the hedging around the piches,lovely veiws

Disliked Proximity to the A68, work men on site, all facilities not quite finished.

Liked The pitches are of very large size, the location of the site is beautiful. Derwent reservoir just down the is a must if staying!

Disliked Toilet and washing facilities feel very unfinished. Stepping out of a shower on to a concrete floor that’s dirty. Very small cubicles, one male toilet door you cannot lock and the toilet is stuffed right at the back around the corner from the ladies toilet next to it! Pitches have drainage but no water. No cleaning materials to clean shower down after it finished, and do not recall seeing anyone clean them whilst we were there. The pitch we were on had dog mess we needed to clean up which based on are stay was probably from the pitch next door as their dog kept coming over with other peoples to use our pitch as toilet. Pitch was also used as shortcut for chemical toilet disposal, and to get to wash unit. No wifi to counteract the very poor mobile signal.

From the manager: Kieron, the cleaning is done several times a day so unless you were there 24 7 how can you even make up such lies, weekends it's done more regular as the pitches are busier, your pitch is not a short cut to anywhere , all pitches are own individual spaces, non factual review, perhaps you enjoyed the pub next door....

Disliked For the amount of people staying at the site, it could do with a couple more showers

Liked Size of the pitches were great, plenty of room for a seaming if needed. Toilet and shower block all within a. Easy walk from each pitch.
