What customers say
Great spot for Whitby & Robin Hood's Bay, with handy buses. Staff are brilliant, facilities are spotless, and pitches are roomy. Cafe/bar and dog field are big hits. Watch out for metered EHU and some uneven pitches.

Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked We had a big corner pitch. Location fantastic, went to Goathland, Robin Hoods Bay and a bike ride to Whitby . Nice pub/cafe .
Disliked We had £4 left on the electric meter and would have liked a refund or better still left it for the next family but once you leave the meters get cleared!!!!

Great spot
Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Great site, good location with good access to bus routes to whitby & scarborough, will return.
Disliked Just personnel preference, would prefer grass pitch, and showers are constant auto shut off. Everything is charged as in nights staying charge, plus charge on top for awning, then charges for pets, then electric charges on top, makes it quite an expensive stay for where it is.

Ein guter, ruhiger Platz mit vielen Möglichkeiten
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch

Would definitely not recommend or visit again.
Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked The location of the site is a positive.
A play area for our granddaughter, albeit a bit run down.
Disliked The main issue was the amount of caravans crammed into the site.
Pretty sure there is a legal minimum requirement for the distance between caravans. We had a caravan plus awning & the distance to next doors caravan was less than 2 meters. They kept their blinds closed for privacy!
Definitely a fire hazard!
The showers are in dire need of a revamp. Mold covered walls & overall not very clean.
I have also attached a photo of the amount of rubbish at the un-emptied bins. This would have been horrendous if the weather had been warmer with the amount of flies.

Enjoyable, chilled and child friendly
Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Friendly staff.
Good bar area on an evening.
Good play area for the kids.
Good pitch up space on number 1 so we could relax whilst kids played - not sure how others who couldn’t see the play area with kids would feel.
Close by to another pub.
Disliked Not much to dislike.

Lovely site, good area, nice facilities and lovely welcome.
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely site in a quiet area, easy reach of the Cleveland way and Cinder path. Bus stop nearby and a local pub that does delicious food.
Disliked Having to buy electric tokens, not the expense (it was cheap) but the having to keep an eye on it, was worried if we went out for the day the fridge would run out of power and would lose everything.
Neighbours - every afternoon when we trying to chill in the lovely sunshine someone, presumably a resident of the site had the TV on VERY loudly and we had to listen to 'The Chase'+ others. It was so loud we could here every word, destroyed the piece and quiet, even above any kids noise.
