What customers say
Peaceful, well-kept site with water, electric & grey waste. Guests rave about stunning views & Becky's warm welcome. Great for walks, with pubs & train nearby for Whitby. Some missed signal/WiFi, others welcomed the break. Watch for uneven pitches & road hum.

Lovely view on the edge of the village
Fully-serviced grass and earth touring pitch
Liked Beautiful view from very large pitch and a great location on the edge of village. The train enables you to do one way walks along the Esk valley and even to spend a day in Whitby. So handy not having to drive. Take a screen shot of the train times before you arrive as there is no phone signal or WiFi. Friendly owner.
Disliked Not the fault of the owner but despite the huge pitches people seemed really confused about where to sit. Our neighbours never used their pitch but instead sat on the picnic bench on our pitch meaning our privacy was very limited. We spoke to the owner who apologised and said she will make it clearer with arrows or some other indicator. It is also worth mentioning there is some road noise as the rear wall of the site backs onto a minor road. It’s very quiet at night.
