What customers say
Beautiful, peaceful spot by the River Wharfe with great views & Dales Way access. Owners are super friendly & helpful, facilities are spotless. Great chilled vibe. Some found phone signal weak & needed more loos when busy, but it's a top-notch find for nature fans. Most want to come back!

Beautiful location
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Location
Close to river and footpath
Friendly host
Beautiful surroundings
Disliked Limited facilities- not enough toilets, showers for number of people camping. First year so hopefully will add more for next summer.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback. We have been overwhelmed with bookings and have already limited our numbers. There will be definitely more for next year

Brilliant site with great facilities and space
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked It was a lovely campsite that has great bathroom and shower facilities. The owner came and chatted with us and brought extra firewood that had been left behind for us to use. Right next to a river where my daughter could play and loads of space for us on the actual campsite to enjoy our activities

It’s wild camping with luxury of real toilets & showers & great views
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked One of my favourite sites we as a family has come too, such a attentive owner, great location over looking the river and the rolling hills on the site, toilet facilities were great lovely and clean and from previous reviews of gaps in the wood were all fixed when we was there. This is pretty much wild camping but with the luxury of real toilets and shower, has to be a ten out of ten it’s the family’s first outing as camp owners and honestly there doing a great job, there willing to learn and appreciate any feed back so definitely will be back!
Disliked Nothing to dislike great site great owners and doing a great job
WiFi hit and miss but you are in the middle of a valley

Excellent site, friendly owner and very peaceful.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Amazing peaceful site. Next to the river, ideal for a wild swim or kayak. Walked into Appletreewick along the river. Beautiful walk.
Disliked Toilets are very basic and not very private - gaps in the wood for people to see in! . 2 toilets for the whole site and only 1 shower. No Elsan point either which is needed with limited facilities.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for your review due to the very dry weather the wood has shrunk on the toilets. We have coverd half and are waiting on more wood to be delivered for round the back. For next year there certainly will be more toilets available.
Lovely pitching place. Will be returning!
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Gorgeous spot right on the river. Beautiful surroundings. Steven and Lottie were amazing hosts. Always around and helpful in anyway they could. Facilities two toilets and a good shower plus washing up station all clean and very good standard. Loved every second. Will be back!
