  • Well-maintained adults-only holiday park at Cliffe in North Yorkshire
  • Designer Outlet York 20 minutes’ drive, and historic York 25 minutes
  • Super-sized pitches with a weekend clubhouse and bar across the road
Jumbo-sized pitches and a properly warm Yorkshire welcome are what you can expect at Linda’s Farm at Four Acres Holiday Park, found 10 minutes’ drive from Selby in the tiny North Yorkshire village of Cliffe. Specifically set up for large motorhomes, the family-run site is easy to get to from both the M62 and the A1(M). Opened in 2024, this adults-only spot is just the job for anyone looking for some quiet downtime on landscaped pitches with views over the surrounding fields. They’re all fully-serviced, but there is also a pristine shower block available for your use. You can source most basics in Cliffe’s well-stocked shop, two minutes' drive away from the site, or have a wander down to the local pub (20 minutes’ walk), also in Cliffe, for a crafty pint of Yorkshire ale; there’s a beer garden for warmer days. At the weekend, the action ramps up a bit with entertainment across the road at the sister site Cliffe Country Lodges, where you can chat with your neighbours at the on-site clubhouse and bar (open on weekends and Thursday and Friday evenings).

What customers say

Linda's Farm offers a welcoming stay with spacious, level pitches and super clean ablutions. Staff are consistently praised for being helpful and friendly, with many keen to return. Sean's Bar nearby gets a nod for its vibe. A few noted limited ablution capacity, no WiFi, and one mentioned adult-only policy mix-ups. Still, most found it great value and a top spot.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Very friendly site, lovely views, peaceful & relaxing. Great size pitches, really nice shower & WC block, although limited facilities they were never occupied by others when we used them so seem proportionally right for the size of the site. Received a warm welcome and helpful info from Alan on arrival. Several seasonal pitches occupied so a nice community feel. We didnt use the bar across the the road this time as we fancied a walk to the pub about 30min away but will try Sean's bar next time. Site secure with barrier. Good size private dog field over the road, the surrounding shrubs not yet mature so not escape proof but plenty space to walk on a lead and again we had this space to ourselves. Had good Internet, was able to stream to TV from phones. Only 10min drive to Selby which has plenty shops, supermarkets, pubs, cafes, fish & chip shops etc, also a garden centre very close by. Alan stopped by to say bye & told us there was no rush to leave if we wanted to stay the day which shows the level of attentiveness. Unfortunately we had to get back home or would have stayed to enjoy the sunshine! Thumbs up from us

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Warm friendly welcome. Shower block is small but well designed and finished. Surprisingly, the view of the power station is quite endearing!

Disliked Pricing our VW microbus (not a mobile home) at hard standing rates at £40...... the same as caravans + cars etc. The drainage is good and firm underneath such that a grass pitch would have been fine. Navigating the difference between small touring 'cars' and 'mobile homes'/caravans seems to be an issue for many sites now.

From the manager: Thank your for your kind review. Please be aware Sean's Bar is not a restaurant it is drinks only. A few of the pubs a short drive from the car offer food.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Great location in countryside for walks to local pubs or drives. Perfect for cyclists as country roads are 95% flat! And quiet! Staff super nice. Pitches are the largest we’ve seen! Drive to designer outlet/park & ride about 20 mins.

Disliked No pot wash yet as is a new site, so would be useful to have one, would also be beneficial to have the place where loo is emptied protected from inclement weather by a 3 x sided gazebo. showers are good however, if site is full as there are only two it would be better if there were at least 4 loos and 4 showers per sex.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. The pot washing is located at Cliffe Country Lodges, for future reference. We look forward to seeing you again

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Great site all pitches are very large and it’s very picturesque everything is new and the shower blocks were exceptionally clean.

Big barrier with code so very safe and Alan was very helpful too.

We went to Sean’s bar too on the Friday night which is just across the road at Cliffe Country Lodge and watched the footie

Disliked Nothing I would stay again ✅

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Very clean and quiet site. Hazel and Jay very helpful when we arrived. Secure dog walking field on the other side of the road is great for pooches. Shower and toilet block very clean. We arrived during the week so the bar opposite wasn't open sadly.

Disliked Whilst this isn't actually a dislike - it would be helpful if the elsan disposal location was better signed (I stumbled across it) and the hose to rinse the toilet cassette was working.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Very quite site , facilities are very good very clean showers are on a push button so measure your time underneath. Please be aware if your looking for somewhere to there’s nothing around locally so food up before coming Shelby’s the nearest place. The new inn at cliffe nice local friendly pub with a range of IPA’s if you’re looking for a beer. Overall good site.

Disliked Pavers leading to the showers/toilets not sure if this was intentional or just cost saving they are laid for people with a giant stride 🥴😂 otherwise nothing bad

Local attractions

Golfers will be happy to hear that there are several courses within half an hour’s drive, and walkers can look forward to strolls around the ponds at wooded Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve (10 minutes’ walk) or through the wildflower meadows at Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens (15 minutes). If you’re in need of a wardrobe update, there are bargains galore at the Designer Outlet York (20 minutes’ drive), while gorgeous, historic York (25 minutes) has more wonderful shopping in cobbled streets like The Shambles. The city also has medieval walls to circumnavigate, and you can see how the Victorians lived in the excellent Castle Museum or join free guided tours of the Gothic-era Minister. There’s more heritage to be found at Selby Abbey (10 minutes), a rare architectural mix of Norman and Gothic styles, or you could make a day of it at the Royal Armouries Museum (45 minutes) in Leeds, which has a spectacular collection of armour and weaponry to peruse.
