Liked The site was lovely, the facilities were clean. The warden was the happiest lady I have ever met.

Disliked There was no sink station to wash your pots.

Liked Lovely little site very friendly they take you direct to your pitch and explain where all the facilities are and food in Clubhouse restaurant extremely tasty good portions very happy and will definitely be returning 😀.

Liked Good sized pitches. Clubhouse on site. Toilet and shower facilities very clean. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Disliked No washing up facilities and in a small campervan this is essential.

Liked Nice and spacious plot. Toilet/shower block very clean, spacious shower cubicles.
The staff was very friendly who greeted us and showed us to pitch etc.

Not much to do locally, beach was a nice stroll away.
Wouldn’t stay again as it was too quiet and not much around. Plus we want to explore more places in the motorhome.
Would recommend to people who just wants a quiet relaxing time away

Disliked We booked a half gravel/grass pitch and ended up with just grass pitch.
Only a snooker table and darts in games room. Under 16s not allowed in. Not much for young kids to do.
Fishing lake wasn’t open

Liked Lovely site, toilets/showers clean, reception staff etc very friendly.

Disliked We had the misfortune to be opposite a feral family. The 'lady' of said family sat outside her mobile home drunkenly shouting and swearing until 3am. Wardens should maybe patrol and cull such activities after midnight (or 10pm would suit me). That first night having only had a couple of hours sleep spoilt the weekend.

Local attractions

You’ll be straight off to the coast for starters, presumably – the lengthy beach lends itself well both to family days of paddles and playing in the sand, and to long walks to fill those lungs with sea air. If you’re intrigued by the birds that stop off for a breather on their long migratory journeys, set off for Spurn Point National Nature Reserve (20 minutes’ drive) to spy on what they get up to. Folk more fascinated by flying machines than flying birds can see a rare Blackburn Beverley plane at Fort Paull (25 minutes), a military museum that’s also got underground tunnels to explore. There’s another chance to go below ground in Holmpton (five minutes), home to a huge ex-RAF bunker. Swap underground for underwater with an outing to The Deep aquarium in Hull (40 minutes); the city’s also got a transport museum, maritime museum, car museum and dinosaur attraction to visit, and plenty of places to catch a film or a show.
