What customers say
Great spot near the beach with top staff. Facilities mostly neat, though some felt dated & had cleanliness hiccups when busy. Loads of fun for families with entertainment. But, recurring noise, overcrowding, and guest behaviour issues spoiled it for some.

Thanks, but no thanks.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Location was fine, close to the beach.
Disliked The place has adequate facilities, but certainly could use some investment. The touring area is close to shop, toilet's and entertainment area. We had 1 drink in there, just under £17 for a pint of cider and glass of wine which felt needlessly expensive. However my theory is that they are trying to raise cash to find someone willing to clean the toilets. To say they are filthy is an understatement. Unfortunately the site must attract people who like to play and smear with their droppings,. Maybe it was a dirty protest at the bar prices. We braved out the 2 day stay. If you want to camp next to Frank Gallagher from Shameless then this is a fine choice.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked We didn't reply enjoy our stay but that's just us.
Disliked Children screaming till 11pm with no regard for anyone. There was supposed to be no commercial vehicles policy in place yet we had a pickup truck parked opposite . The toilets were not cleaned ...at all. We had 2 nights booked so only stayed the first night and wild camped elsewhere for our second night. Really disappointed

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Beach was nice, staff friendly
Disliked Where do I start, there were two caravans behind us number plates removed, looked like permanent staying, one had family screaming and shouting at one particular girl one was dragged out van crying, dogs wandering around by themselves, and dirty shower blocks actually disgusting (worst I've ever seen)

Would not stay there again after I.D farce
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The politeness of the receptionist who told me that I could have shown my bank card on checking in after being told I had to share my personal information with a 3rd party beforehand because it could effect my stay.
Disliked Was told I need to scan my photo I.D before my stay and was told just something with my name wouldn’t be enough. Very angry that other people showed something with their name on. Anyone could enter the camp from the beach without I.D

Lovely site, spoiled by Parkdean not following it's own T&Cs
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked all facilities were within a couple of minutes of the touring area. Decent toilet / shower block, decent little shop on site, entertainment complex was good.
Disliked Despite the clear T&C and notices saying they do not accept large vans / work vans etc, it was very clear that a number of pitches were using large work vans, with large caravans. The large group of people in said vans were noisy, playing music, letting their young children drink alcohol, shouting, fighting etc. The site has a reputation, and it didn't dissapoint.
Also, the pool was so full you couldn't even swim. They let far too many people into the pool at once so there is only room to stand, so it wasn't enjoyable.
