What customers say
A neat, peaceful campsite with ample, flat spots. Toilets and showers get a thumbs up for being clean and having hot water. The railway theme, welcoming owner, and nearby attractions like the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway and Middy Bar are big pluses. Most people love it, though a few reckon more loos/showers at busy times and better signs would be great.

Would use again but would want a different bed.
Railway Wagon camping pod (four person)
Liked Lovely site, nice accommodation, kids loved the bunk beds, very accessible for looking around Suffolk.
Disliked Gold out bed in accommodation was very uncomfortable as the mattress needs replacing and a slat was broken 🙁

Electric grass pitch
Liked Quiet site with clean facilities, well marked pitches and easy access to local towns and villages. Chose a short walk across to The Cedars farm shop which was well worth a visit - lovely lunch and lots of delicious local produce.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Clean toilet block, nice and near.
Disliked My pitch which was booked and paid for, but when I arrived there wasn't a pitch for me so had to squeeze in and share a pitch. Will be asking for a refund! No staff on site so anyone can just turn up.

Good location but lack of facilites
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Location was very close to family so it was great. The dog park was fab! A great way to tire out our cocker spaniels. Middy bar was fab, but be aware it is not onsite (5/10 mins walk).
Disliked Not very clear where we could set up our tent. Surprised to find that there was only four toilets and showers across the whole campsite!! Asked for hand soap to be provided, as there wasn’t any in the toilets, this didn’t happen.

Carriage Two 2 bedroom camping pod (eight person)
Liked The place is really clean and tidy. Very close to the dog field which is easily bookable. Friendly people. Close to lots of great places to eat and nearby Debenham has some nice shops.
The carriage itself is very well put together and the beds are really comfy!

Electric grass pitch (large)
Liked Great camp site. Generous size pitches and not too busy which was nice surprise for an August weekend. Dog agility area was enjoyed by our dog. Our daughter loved the light railway, which was only a short walk away (limited open times so worth checking before hand if you plan to visit).
Have found some campsite owners at other places to be a bit overbearing, but we were left alone to enjoy our weekend, which we appreciated.
Wouldn't hesitate to come back.
