What customers say
Beautifully kept, tranquil campsite with a friendly owner, Fred. Level, spacious pitches, clean, basic facilities. Great for walks/cycling, near a pub. Hot water at washing up area being looked into. Highly recommended for a relaxing countryside break.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Excellent service from Fred. Greeted on arrival and explained where everything was. Choice of sunny or shaded pitches. Picked half and half as Mylo likes the shade. Plenty of walks straight from site and pub in walking distance. Very pretty place

A tranquil and mindful stay in a beautiful setting.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Loved the space and tranquillity. Only a short walk to the Chequers for good food and beer. Fred is a legend - super host.
Disliked Still a relatively new and quite basic site but Fred is making tweaks and improvements all the time. A super site if you are happy with just the basics - Thompson also does not have a local shop, so plan ahead…
