Nice location, we walked to Snipe Dales which is s picturesque country park and nature reserve.

Ate in the pub on the first night, good food and very reasonable.

There were effectively two bathrooms for exclusive use, EHU and a chemical disposal point.

Lovely peaceful relaxing weekend. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Two very clean shower rooms with basin and toilet. Washing up area as well. Quiet site with three motorhomes when we stayed but space for more. Sampled the food and drinks at the pub, which were all delicious. We had our little dog with us as well which was not a problem as dogs are allowed in the bar area and outside garden area. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely weekend staying here. The pub was not too loud mainly doing meals I think. We stayed in a camper van with our friends in another camper van. There was only one other pitch being used so the facilities were never busy. Two spotless shower rooms and a washing up area, a clean toilet waste area and a tap.
The food and service was excellent above the usual standard you’d expect from a pub and the staff are very helpful and friendly even though they were short staffed at the time you would never have known. There are walks from the pub and a cafe within walking distance. We would recommend staying here but we don’t want to in case this hidden gem becomes too popular!

I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like other than had it been busier you might of had to wait to use the facilities but you could always use the toilets in the pub when it’s open.

5 spacious all grass electric pitches. Well maintained and level. Surrounded by farmland. Clean and well maintained toilet/shower block - code needed so not for public use. Toiletries provided.
Excellent tasty food served at the pub, very reasonably priced. Friendly welcoming staff.
Pub on busy road but pitches at the back of pub away from traffic noise.

Lovely big and level pitches. Great clean facilities and right by a bus stop so we could leave the motorhome and travel for days out.

What a great find! Lovely small site at the rear of the pub. Flat pitch with electric. Toilet, shower block, washing up area all spotlessly clean with red hot water. Had a meal in the pub which was beautiful! Nice pint of Guinness too. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly. Definitely one of my favourites. Will not be our only visit here.

Staff were friendly, pub was brilliant - the food was great! The shower blocks were like being in a hotel. The pitch was a good size and with the camping field only having 3 bell tents and 4 hookup pitches the site was quiet.
