Liked Very nice site. Brilliant for families with young children.
Disliked No local pub. need to drive to places.

From the manager: I'm sorry our site isn't for you, the nearest pub to our site and safe to walk to is 1.9miles. We don't advertise that we have commercial facilities on site, so I'm sorry you were disappointed! But through the busier summer months we do have popup food vans every Friday night and some Saturday nights, to help with food options. We aren't a commercial site, and so the charm is getting away from it all and enjoying campfires, the lake and nature. You can definitely walk to Ledbury, where there are many things to do and see, whilst staying with us, and we have a bus stop 1 mile away to take you to Ledbury or Hereford.
Thanks

Liked This was my first time camping and we had 3 under 4, one being autistic who doesn’t like leaving home (& never asked to go home, during our whole visit which he hasn’t done that since he could talk!) and a 12year old (who I probably should of bought a friend for) but nevertheless we had the most amazing first camping experience. My husband loves fishing, and him and the kids caught big amazing carp fish amongst others but they will be lifetime memories for the kids. The campsite was clean, the staff were amazing and friendly. Tesco’s is about 5 mins drive if you need anything we didn’t venture to the shop, but the fact they had a pizza box the one night & a burger box the next night went down a great hit!
We hired the fire pit & ask for a griddle if you want to bbq! But please give them back so annoying people don’t return and then there’s less for others! We were located near the toilets which I recommend, good washing up facilities, showers & toilets were cleaned everyday. And even fridge and freezer on site to use, my kids loved being free. They slept amazing which doesn’t happen in our house. Lovely playground and the lake was beautiful (I was too scared to get in after seeing what was in there 🫣🤣 but the people in there were all having an amazing time!) we already want to book again for a couple weeks time, and felt so sad about coming home!! Our neighbours recommended and so glad they did as we’ve done abroad & Uk holidays this year and this was my favourite 🤩

Quiet and secluded location. Highly recommended.
Camping pod
Liked Stayed overnight in one of the pods, and it was really enjoyable. The lady in reception was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely secluded location, and very quiet. The pods have electricity, lighting, and there was a heater but it was so warm I didn't need it!
Disliked Shortage of amenities on site, although I do note they have a visiting food vans on certain days. A little cafe would be great!

Liked Space and access to lake. Friendly staff. Even though it was very busy it was quiet and people were respectful. Great location near to ledbury and Ross.
Disliked Showers in main block were quite cold most days unfortunately.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to review our site, delighted you enjoyed it and will hopefully visit again in the future. We were really disappointed to read that the showers in the main block were cold, we do have 4 toilet blocks so not too sure which block you are meaning, but please another time, do come and let us know, as i would imagine there is a problem that needs addressing, or explaining. If in the white doors toilet block, these can be controlled - but many people dont realise that you can turn them up and down, we are adding stickers to see if that helps. We had another visitor mention it was too hot so when we explained that they could be controlled by the customer - they were delighted, so please never suffer in silence do always mention it to us and we can see if we can help, its what we are here for!
Many thanks
Clean, dog-friendly, lovely vibe!
Electric grass pitch
Liked Second visit to this wonderful dog-friendly site. We stayed on the electric hook-up pitch. Groups are located together if possible. It’s clean, the staff are accommodating and the location is perfect to just get away from it all.
Love the lake for an early morning swim too.
Will be back for a third visit soon!
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Would definitely go again but choose an outer pitch not field pitch
Electric grass pitch
Liked The pond and walks were great. The showers and toilets very clean and staff very friendly
Disliked Children playing football etc around pitches and screaming till 10-10.3. I think after 9 at the latest it should be quiet for families putting younger children to bed early.

From the manager: Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review, our quiet time policy is from 10.30pm, and it does get busier with children in the height of summer. We do have other areas which are quieter, so perhaps give us a call next time and we can see which areas might be more appropriate for you.
We hope we can welcome you back at a quieter time of year.
thanks
