  • Peaceful and simple Gloucestershire site for CAMC members only
  • A 15-minute drive to either Gloucester or Tewkesbury
  • On the route of the 12.5-mile Whitmore Way circular walk; dogs welcome
Like to park up in a rural spot and then explore on foot? If you're a Caravan and Motorhome Club member, Whitmore Way Certificated Location is likely to be a good option for you. This CAMC members-only Gloucestershire site about a mile from Corse is on the route of the Whitmore Way footpath, a gorgeous (and mainly level) 12.5-mile circular route taking in the area's greenways, lanes and farmland. That path makes a great day walk – and there are plenty of other options close by, too, as this place is handily located between the Malvern Hills, Wye Valley and Cotswolds National Landscapes. There are a couple of country parks nearby as well, along with attractive towns and cities like Gloucester and Tewkesbury or historic attractions like Hellens and Eastnor Castle. There's so much fabulous scenery to explore around here – and you'll be able to take some of it in from your pitch, as the site is surrounded by farmland, woodlands and gentle hills. You’ll need to be in a self-contained tourer to stay here as there are no electric connections or bathroom facilities (although there is a chemical disposal point and a drinking water supply). Life on site is pretty laidback – kids and dogs are welcome, and you should have plenty of space for your barbecue, awning, camping chairs and the like. It's a peaceful place though, and not a party site – so you'll be asked to keep the noise down in general and particularly after 9.30pm so everyone can have a relaxing night's sleep.

Non-electric grass touring pitch (members only)

Liked Tranquil setting . Wide access roads by rural standards - important for full size motorhomes and caravans. One third of the cost of a club site and every pitch has a view of the countryside. Basic facilities are perfectly acceptable for the low price and are clean . Will stay again.

Non-electric grass touring pitch (members only)

Liked Rural idyll views that haven’t changed for 200 years . Spacious pitches and an easy route in for wide vehicles providing you follow the directions . This is a simple site with very basic facilities and all the better for it . It’s a field not a bowling green so bring your wheel ramps . The owners are most welcoming and it’s difficult not to relax the moment you get here. We promptly cancelled our plans for onward travel to extend our stay here. The site offers truly exceptional value for money. This part of Gloucestershire is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty yet isn’t overrun with tourists like us !
