We're pleased to hear you appreciated our location and the excellent bus service to both Cheltenham and Gloucester, although we're sorry that you found the background noise particularly noticeable during your one-night stay.

We do feel it's important to clarify for anyone considering a stay with us that we're very open about our location. Briarfields is situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester, close to the main road network and Gloucestershire Airport, and this is clearly described throughout our park information and booking descriptions. We also specifically advise guests that some traffic and light aircraft noise can be heard at times.

We provide this information before booking precisely because we want prospective guests to understand our setting and decide whether it's right for them. We're not a remote rural campsite; one of Briarfields' biggest advantages is its incredibly convenient location, with Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Cotswolds, the M5, cycle routes and regular public transport all exceptionally easy to access.

We completely appreciate that sensitivity to background noise varies enormously. Many of our guests tell us they barely notice it, while others are naturally more sensitive to it, and we fully respect that.

We're especially pleased you made good use of the regular bus service just outside the park. Our convenient location makes exploring Cheltenham and Gloucester incredibly easy without needing to drive.

Thank you also for your fair comments regarding the road noise. Being so conveniently located between Cheltenham and Gloucester, close to the M5 and major transport links, does inevitably mean some background traffic can be heard, and we appreciate that everyone has a different sensitivity to noise.

We all remember there can be quite a lot to get your head around when you first start caravanning, so we're always more than happy to lend a hand, answer questions or help with those little things that suddenly don't quite go to plan.

Being just a few minutes from the M5 makes us ideal for an overnight stop, although hopefully we'll tempt you to stay a little longer one day and explore Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswolds too!

Liked Pitches nicely spaced. Facilities lovely and clean and in excellent order. Friendly greeting on arrival, friendly staff throughout our stay. It's also in a great location, with easy access to both Cheltenham and Gloucester. Shops and eateries also close by, what more could you want?

Disliked A pet hate of mine is push button showers, they are so annoying, I can never understand why they exist. I also find them difficult to operate.

Disliked Pitch had quite a slope difficult to get caravan level which also made the steps difficult to get level and safe.

We're sorry, however, that you found your particular pitch difficult to level on. Although the majority of our pitches are relatively level, there are a few where levelling blocks may be needed depending on the length and setup of the unit. We completely appreciate your point regarding the caravan steps too, as being able to position these safely is important.

If you're ever having difficulty getting comfortably level, please do come and have a chat with us at reception. Where availability allows, we'll always do our best to help or look at alternative options.

Liked We stayed in our motorhome on a fully serviced pitch. We were close to the facilities which were clean and well presented. Plenty of showers and toilets. The site was also clean and well thought out. The staff were lovely- very helpful and accommodating. The dog exercise area was a good size.
Brilliant bus service to Cheltenham- also to Gloucester. There are plenty of walks which reception gave us a map for. Lots of things to do in the area. Asda and Lidls are nearby as well.
We have booked again for December.

We're pleased your dog enjoyed Dorothy's Dog Field and that you made good use of the local walking routes. Having the regular buses to both Cheltenham and Gloucester right outside the park, along with supermarkets nearby, certainly makes it easy to leave the motorhome pitched up and explore.
