Liked: Check in was easy and was told where to pitch. Views were amazing & the portaloos were well stocked with toilet roll and were nice & clean! Great little area to get away from the norm. :)
Disliked: Unfortunately we left just after midnight due to the pitch next to us playing music with a very heavy bass speaker well past 10pm despite the campsite saying quiet time after 10pm. I understand these situations are a risk when booking a campsite & is totally down to the travellers as opposed to the campsite itself but sadly not everyone respects this.

From the manager: Thankyou for your review, I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m happy to pick up the phone at whatever time if someone else is not following rules as I would have gone and seen to the issue. Thanks jess

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Wonderfully easy check in provided a fantastic bbq and firepit with wood for a very small price
Disliked: Only possible complaint i have is the toilets were terrible and unclean. But I used them the morning after our stay and it was very busy so that is 100% on the travellers and not the owners

Liked: Lovely, well maintained site. Portaloos werw immaculate as was the washing sink area. Hosts were absolutely lovely and let the girls see, cuddle & feed the lambs which was really kind of them.
Views are stunning & the site is just so lovely and peaceful. We will definitely be returning.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: we had a fabulous stay, plenty of space and although the toilets were basic they were in good condition. The tap and sink was a good addition.
Our children had a great experience feeding the lambs and playing with the owners child.
We will definately be coming back again soon
Disliked: The entrance way to the campsite could be improved as it is a track across the fields which may prove challenging in the wrong type of vehicle

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: The campsite was large and had lots of space around each tent so you didn’t even realise other people were there! It was a great location only 5 mins from a shop and a pub. There are 2 portaloos which were kept clean and stocked up, there is also a big sink but no hot water or dish soap, so any washing up bring your own.
Disliked: The only downside was the field is a on a big hill so there is very little flat ground, so you will be on a hill.
