What customers say

A chilled, no-frills spot with lekker owners. Guests loved the big pitches, pretty views, and loads of wildlife, even deer. Facilities are simple but mostly clean. Some mentioned no showers and a bit of plane noise, but most enjoyed the laid-back vibe and good price. Perfect for a quiet nature break.

Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch

Liked We have just come back from a lovely stay, the field was very spacious lots of room and had a really good vibe. The cafe/farm shop did fantastic bacon and eggs. All the staff were super friendly.
We saw a deer first thing in the morning roaming around the meadow.
We will definitely book again.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Nice and peaceful place

Disliked So poor facilities, like wild camping, just loo and little little sink to wash your hands, and water tab to filled your bucket
No place to wash your dishes, no shower, no even bins for rubbish Rubbish you must take with you

Route directions

Please make sure that you use Gravelpit Hill Lane to access the site. Satnav devices often suggest Ellis’ Hill as the best route. Please don’t come this way. There is a ford which is sometimes quite deep. You need to be on the B3030 (Arborfield to Twyford or vice versa) to reach the site. Drive to the top of Gravelpit Hill Lane, and then turn right. The farm is a few hundred yards along on the left. What3words: blip.reverted.cutback.
