North End Farm Glamping: Summer breeze through the long grass

General

  • Small and secluded glamping site on a peaceful family-run farm
  • A mile from the village of Stagsden; Milton Keynes 20 minutes' drive
  • Furnished bell tents in a spacious meadow; kids and pets welcome

North End Farm Glamping sums up what's great about the English countryside – sunsets, lazy picnics on the grass, gazing out over ancient oak trees… This family-run site is a mile from the quiet village of Stagsden, surrounded by peaceful farmland, woodlands and easily accessible walking trails.

Here you can wake up in a fully-furnished bell tent with birds, horses and cows as neighbours. If you're here during harvest time, you'll also catch a glimpse of rural life in action, while a wide array of wildlife passes through the farm all year round.

And, best of all, none of the above will involve the fiddly business of pitching your own tent. The canvas bell tents here are set up for your arrival, with cosy bedding, a camp kitchen kit and proper beds (with room for up to four guests), plus access to steamy showers and a loo with a view. Kids, well-behaved dogs, barbecues and campfires are all welcome.

For gentle strolls, North End Farm Glamping has direct access to a circular route around Stagsden. The village borders a golf course for further outdoor pursuits, while Bromham, a suburb of Bedford, is approximately another mile and a half down the road (or five minutes' drive from site). Head here for pubs, supermarkets, kids' play areas or to start scenic walks along the River Great Ouse.

Please note

Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

No cars/motorcycles at the site. All cars must be parked in the designated area.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the park are unlit.

Minimum spacing of 5 metres between pitches.

We wanted comfortable break as close to nature as possible. I must say that North End Farm Glamping delivered on every level. We loved everything about it! We were shown to our tent by our hosts and we had hot tea and scones ready for us on arrival which made us feel very welcome. It was lovely and unexpected. My 3year old received beautiful book about camping and print out to mark which animals he was able to spot, which was very thoughtful! (thank you little Freddie). We read the book several times during our stay and over and over since being back. Our tent and set up around it had more then I expected. The bedding was super fresh and soft. Beds were very comfortable. My son slept both nights all the way through which was amazing!! We had everything we needed right there ready for us: utensils, pots, kettle, gas stove, chopping board, container with water, bbq and charcoal, table and chairs to eat our meals comfortably, another set of comfortable chairs and table by the fire pit, lighter, wood. I could go on and on. There was wonderful old tractor which our son fell in love with. We sat on in for hours having pretend rides and doing farm work. I was able to relax while our son had the time of his life (being tractor obsessed at his age). We also had few bonus rides on wheel barrow! There was very comfortable play room full of games and sports equipment suitable for all ages and abilities. And great communal area with pizza owen, fire pit and seating area. And the book room, but we didn’t have much time for that, our stay was sadly only for 2nights. And of course toilets and showers-full of character and very clean. Cleaning products and sanitisers available throughout. Site was very well looked after throughout our stay and hosts were super nice. We loved that there was a lot of space between tents and it felt as there was a lot of thought given to look after the nature and wildlife yet still allow for us to be super comfortable. We really appreciate it. We had campfire and watched the stars every night. It was great to wake up to mooing cows and chirping birds. Tent had overhead light inside (very good light), outside lanterns were also provided and every effort was made to ensure bugs are kept away.
Absolutely brilliant and highly recommend it!
