What customers say
A decent, well-kept campsite with helpful staff. Guests loved the clean facilities, big pitches, and the shop. Families enjoyed the play area and fields. Most found it peaceful, though some noted noise from campers. WiFi and busy showers were minor points. Great spot for a chill escape.

We like that pitches without electric you can park as far away from others if you need to or to park in a group if you are a group
Look forward to seeing you another time
Great family friendly site with brilliant owners/staff around
Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely large grass pitches, all flat. The water and electric is all hidden in hedges where the pitches are placed and conveniently located around the site.
The toilets and kitchen were always clean, and the site was busy when we were there.
It was nice and quiet in the evenings too during our stay. The owner or wardens were always around.
There is a play area for those with children and the field in the middle is huge for kids to play on.
It was a dog friendly site, and again this was the quietest site I've been on with dogs around, and I have a dog.
Everyone seemed to respect the site rules and the owner and wardens were so friendly and part of the place, everyone when we were here made this an amazing break.
There is a shop on site too which has everything you need. They also do home made curry by the local bakery which is really good. It does heat up in a saucepan! There is a shed with local takeaway options too.
Disliked Nothing. I was worried when I turned up, as it was busy, but the amount of work at keeping everything so clean and tidy showed.

That was a busy weekend so glad you found your stay to be quiet in the evenings, our wardens do a fantastic job at monitoring everything and work very hard doing so and making sure everything is clean and tidy
Glad you enjoyed the curry, was a good recommendation :-)
We had a fantastic few days and would book again
Electric grass pitch
Liked The friendly staff
Spacious camping pitch
Disliked No seats in shower for older and disabled persons in the shower
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Hi
We do have seats in our disabled shower and toilet block (wet room) , if you need access next time when you book again please ask and we will give you the code, we dont have them in the general blocks as they cannont be put into shower trays and would be too slippy, The wet room floor is designed to have a chair in there where a shower tray is too slippy
Apart from this we are glad you enjoyed your stay
Great site . Toilets were pretty bad in the morning .
Non-electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Was a big field . Park was great . They had rounders and other game being played . The owners obviously take pride and for good reason . Staff were great and friendly .
Disliked How far the toilets were away.
We were near an orchard and there was loads of wasps . Toilets were bad first thing in the morning

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review, glad you enjoyed your stay
Unfortunatley they are harvesting in the area and with the warm weather even speaking to the wasp guy that comes in the shop they have been out in force this year
Im sorry you had a bad experience with the toilets first thing in the morning, this is very unusual, our wardens Graham and Mandy are very good at their job and this is the first time that we have ever had a comment since they have been not up to standard
Would definitely stay again.
Non-electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked It's a lovely campsite and easy to find. The owner is very nice and helpful. I only stayed for a night with my friends for a festival in the tent pitch area and was plenty of room for the tent and the car which is very handy to have the car close.
Place is secured with a gate and you are given a code to enter. There's a playground for children and the toilets and showers are very clean. The only thing is that there's no reception and the WiFi didn't work but it didn'tbother us. Would definitely stay again.

Glad you had a good time and thank you for your review
Reception isnt the greatest for some networks but unfortunatley that is part of being in the village
There are some areas of the campsite which doesnt work with wifi but cannont be done, please ask for a better area next time we cannont get all the way to the play area as has to be run off the electric points

Electric grass pitch
Liked Brilliant, friendly family atmosphere! Plenty for the kids to do in the park and skate ramp; they played all day into the evening.
Clean toilets and showers, shop on site is very handy, the site is very well maintained and clean throughout. The local retail park and shops are also very handy. This is the perfect place for parents to come and relax and let the children have fun 👍 we will definitely stay again !
Disliked Couldn't get on the WiFi - it was very busy! But this wouldn't stop us from booking again

Good site, clean and safe. Quite busy and a bit noisy for us though.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Good facilities - clean toilets and showers that were hot on our first morning but only warm the next morning.
Excellent farm shop on site that sells just about everything!
The site felt secure with wardens at the gate and an electric gate. The wardens are great and kept a close eye on things around the site.
Disliked Not very peaceful when we were there as one of the campers felt the need to broadcast the entire Glastonbury festival on their radio all day and most of the evening.....
