What customers say
This lovely, private campsite provides a tranquil wild camping vibe with neat facilities. Spacious pitches with fire pits are set by a river. Friendly owners, an honesty shop, river access & an optional 4x4 ferry add to the charm. Midges possible in summer. Great for nature lovers.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We had a fab stay at Dall cottage. It was my son’s birthday and he loved it. We were lucky with the weather, and were able to sit round the fire pit and toast marshmallows.
Everything was well presented and stunning pitches by the river. Defo stay again.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked This was such a peaceful campsite with only 4 pitches and comes with your own firepit, next to the river. There's enough space for several tents on each pitch and there's a compostable toilet, shower and an honesty shed where you can buy firewood, snacks and souvenirs. Would definitely book again if I'm in the area!

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting, very peaceful and couldn’t see or hear the road over the sound of the rushing water. Only four pitches and we were right at the end so felt as if we were wild camping (except for the fact we had access to a lovely fire pit area and toilets etc!) Best of both worlds. Was great that we could park right by our pitch too.
Disliked Being right next to the water meant the midges were pretty horrendous.
