A fabulous well kept site. You can take some great walks along the Severn (plus others) and the Red Lion has a good reputation for food.

Peaceful location, nice views/nature, good gravel pitch. Basic but good facilities, everything you need, nicely kept and decorated small shower/toilet block, good walks /dog walking along the estuary and through the forest, lots of birdsong first thing in the morning.

No hand drying facilities in the toilets, no paper towels, hand towels or hand dryer.
Local Dog walkers allowing their dogs to run into the site across your pitch. Not great when own dog sat quietly tethered on own pitch or for people who don't like or are afraid of dogs.
No bus service on Saturdays or Sundays so have to drive or long walk to neighbouring villages.

Love the peacefulness and the toilet/shower block always clean
It’s our second stay in the last month… like the new solar lite path to the toilets … site always spotlessly clean…. Minimal but absolutely perfect to relax and go for walk or visit the local

Definitely not a dislike but a suggestion.. maybe stepping stones or path to bin area and fresh water tap would be brilliant

Lovely location, great pub, wonderful for walking and cycling, will be back when then weather improves.

Very rural, with lovely views and very little traffic. Right in the countryside, but close to the village pub, with delicious food. Dog walks right from the site.

Lovely site been here before will go back again. Got a new puppy so had to try him out in the van so where better. All the animal noises from the working farm. Lovely place

Not a great deal as the owner gives you space to breath and is not looking down your back constantly. If I had to say one thing it would be that if you don't like smells watch the cow poos. But as I said I don't mind that

Pitch was nice and level with option of EHU. Contactless arrival and easy to find and just park up!

Kind of in the middle of nowhere, didn’t see a sole in the day, very quiet, so just found a billboard of suggested walks in the village by the red lion pub and ventured off on one.
The showers/toilet block were very dirty - we didn’t use the showers, only the toilet due to need. It had been raining heavy prior to our arrival and on/off during the day, so the walkway to the toilet had an almost foot deep puddle, so would not have been ideal for evening toilet requirements, so we decided to leave a few hours later and did not stay.

Small and intimate in a great location for walks! We spent two nights here and couldn't have been happier. Tom was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful walks along the the river and through the fields. Sunday lunch at the Red Lion was amazing! Would suggest making a reservation.

Could have been a little cleaner, and if the site was full I think the toilet block might be a little small. 2 shower/toilet combos and 1 toilet for what looks like 16 pitches, plus tent sites.
