really nice and quiet place, not much to do on site but hastings is only a 25 min drive away :)

Every thing! The log man. That we can spread out and have lots of space. The dogs love it and it’s very relaxing and friendly

Very friendly & relaxed site, great to see big groups allowed and campfires as the sun went down.
Clean facilities & despite it been very busy it was quiet after 10.30.
Breakfast from the shop/bar/cafe was excellent.
Nice walks from the site. The dog was very pleased!

It’s a beautiful area, daily cleaners for communal use areas, the shop has almost a bit of everything sold with great stuff and customer care. My tent broke but I did get very supportive people to help me out. It’s very quiet to relax other than the weekends. I have had 10 days in total on my own and have had no issues at all. I will definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone interested in camping. Wifi is perfect in many areas. My dog loved it too 🐾 I’d enjoy and wonder area more if my tent was sturdy enough. 🤷‍♀️ well it still has been a good experience. I moved into premium tent and extended my stay still. Life is good ❤️🥰

Large site on a small river which can be accessed for SUP/Kayaks nearby. Although access at site itself is difficult, overgrown with steep banks. Good site for kids with large playground and open spaces for games. Site facilities good. Great local pub at Bodiam opposite the castle.

Was a little noisy but think that was down to size of site and numbers of people.

This is our 2nd year coming here and we love the site. Plenty of room, able to take a dog and have a campfire. The toilets and showers are always clean. There is a playground for the kids and a nice walk alont the river to the Castle Inn. There is no litter onsite and everyone is respectful of bedtime and noise levels. The kids absolutely love coming here.

Everything about this camping site is amazing. Toilet blocks and showers kept immaculate. Peaceful and would definitely return .
