Toilet/shower block needs refurbishing

Loved the friendly warm welcome from the staff who couldn’t do enough for you. What a fantastic location with beautiful views. Located next to an awesome pub with great homemade food. We enjoyed some fantastic walks straight off the campsite. Will definitely come again.

Brilliant location for walking. Magnificent views. Staff very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Lovely cafe on site and also a small general store. Pub directly opposite the site entrance.

The toilet block is t the best but the staff are aware and will have a new block finished soon. Despite being run down the facility was clean and the water very warm.

Everything was perfect

Only minor and didn’t matter too much but the WiFi doesn’t reach pitch 13. However it does work perfectly just one pitch closer to reception

2 lovely pubs couple mins away and a train station.

Toilet/shower block very shabby but there are notices saying new block coming.

Great little site. Everything you need, it’s clean and tidy and they are in the process of installing a new shower block. The staff are welcoming and friendly and there are so many wonderful walks that are accessed straight from the campsite. It also has a lovely little cafe and pub at entrance to site and other pubs near by. What more could you ask for.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Great location. Well organised. Shop very well stocked with good quality items including a bakery with fresh pastries AND a refill section.

Great location, wonderful views, good on site cafe

Very expensive for standard of facilities on offer (am aware that there is a new toilet block being built).
A charge of £4 per dog per night was the most we have ever paid in years of touring even on sites with specific facilities for dogs, which isn't the case here
