Friendly quiet site with very clean facilities and very good security 24 hours a day. Option to hire a fire pit with a large supply of wood to go with it. The scenery and walks were absolutely amazing.

This campsite is situated in a picturesque area. It was a real pleasure to step outside the tent each morning to lovely view and all the pitches were nice and flat. We were camped in the adults only area and it was so peaceful as a result.
It is just a few minutes drive, or a gentle walk along the riverbank to get to the small town of Middleton where there are cafes, pubs and a co-op. Really handy if the camp shop isn't open.
The toilets and showers were very clean and modern with plenty of hot water. I felt the 50p charge for a shower was well worth it for such high standard facilities.
Everything you would need for a few days happy camping.

The area was a lovely village perfect place for relaxing. It is great that they also come round with fire pits to rent. Friendly and welcoming also they give you a wifi code which at most camp sites you have to pay for

The gates for cars are locked from 8:30 but it’s no big issue

The site is very well organized and the owners were very courteous and helpful.
We found the shower blocks to be nipping clean and the showers which were nice and warm were not overcrowded
This is a lovely part of the country and the peace and quiet made for a very relaxing stay.

So many midgets at night was unbearable near the river
