A very well presented site and organised site. The location is beautiful, positioned right on the river, the the town centre around a 20min walk (along the river).

There didn't seem to be enough bins, as there were lots of bin bags placed on the floor around these, which were right at the entrance to the site in full view. Free wifi onsite although it appeared to be quite slow.

My wife and I had a great long weekend stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Shower block and toilets were spotless. The campsite setup was really well maintained and tent pitches were very spacious.

We liked it so much, we have booked the Bank holiday weekend at the end of the month.

Very clean site, large amenities block that was spotless and The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Pitches were level, nice river running around the outside of the site.

Gorgeous green grass pitches, lovely quiet location. Lovely surroundings.

Free Wifi stated online, but could not find from our pitch. Not the end of the world, but maybe worth site installing range extender or tp link?

Gorgeous views, lovely flat pitches and facilities were fantastic, the showers were so spacious and modern. We were in the adult field, it was so peaceful and we hired a fire out. Lovely walk along the river into Middleton too

Unable to take car on to site after 8:30 pm, although a pass for the barrier was provided (I had to leave my car outside of the barrier after returning late after a meal out).
Likewise, being unable to leave the site before 7:30 am, which meant that I had to pack my camping gear and carry it to the car which was parked outside the barrier as I had to leave the site prior to 7:30.
