The campsite - clean, modern, plenty of fresh air; walks around the lakes; outdoor areas & amenities. Reception staff are wonderful - welcoming, friendly and very helpful; they truly want you to have a great stay
The building are modern (still smell new); the cafe is lovely with great value, great tasting food. The camp shop just about sells everything you’d need
The Glamping pod was truly amazing - clean, modern and just big enough for a small family. Can’t hear the busy traffic from the main road
No WiFi so no ‘human distractions’

Site ‘bar’ closes at 4pm each day with no other evening entertainment.
The settee bed in the pods has never been a bed - like sleeping on a wardrobe door (and I drew the short straw so slept/laid on it for 3 nights)

Had an amazing stay everything was perfect , all clean and hot tub was ready on arrival. Perfect location and staff very friendly in both reception & cafe

Modern, clean pod with pristinely kept grounds across whole site. Nature trails beautiful. Cafe dog-friendly and food very good. Loved the dog-friendly veranda on the front and back if the pod.

Would have liked cafe to be open until maybe 8pm for a glass of wine and pizza with the kids. Dog waste went in giant bins with all other waste which did make me question what recycling was going on (hopefully E Yorks takes all recycling together and sorts it?) shame Wi-Fi wasn’t available yet.

Clean and modern campsite. We poved our bungalow with the hot tub. Lots of space for four people. Laundry was a plus for a family. Staff were incredibly friendly.

The mattresses and sofa bed were uncomfortable and could do with an upgrade. The site is located near a busy road so do not expect complete silence.

Location

The pod it's self was not satisfactory. It was dirty in places not a lot was provided. The bed was so so uncomfortable and soft too. People were leaving early. The toilet seat and tiny mirror were broken. Ons were dirty. No washing up liquid was provided or hand soap.
We paid £25!!! Extra for bedding and we're given 1 thin well used pillow an not tea towels or bath mats. We had to buy a mattress protector and pillows to try help us sleep.
I have not received any replies from the holiday park regarding these issues.
It definitely had gone down hill from our last visit. And would not return unless changes are made.

The holiday park was very good and we enjoyed our experience of the POD. The staff were very professional and a credit to the company. Had a great time. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike

Clean spacious pods on a beautiful site. Pitch and putt was excellent and could use clubs from reception. On site cafe and park are both great. Lovely grass area in front of pods and gated front to pod was ideal for our 1 year old to play out but be safe. Loved so much that we are going to book again.

Our first family little holiday, we have booked again for a weekend holiday in September for our 2nd wedding anniversary! 😊
