Facilities were spotless and the host was lovely! View of the lake was amazing with nothing but sheep, cows and birds to listen to whilst watching the sunset. Will definitely return!

We were parked next to lots of scrap machinery. The toilets and shower were VERY basic. The electric hookup regularly didn't work (paid an extra £45 for this!). It was over priced.

Nice view looking out in one direction.

We booked a hard standing with an awning. When we arrived there was no room left on the field that was photographed for the campsite advert. Instead we were put on another area on some rubble with lots of farm yard scrap metal around us. (Funnily enough there are no photos of this shown when booking). It was totally unsuitable for a pleasant caravan holiday with our children. The main toilet block was in the proper field and we had a portaloo turned into a shower and a metal hut adapted to be a toilet. I told the owner that this was not what we had booked and he even said that we were meant to have been cancelled!!! I rarely write reviews but this campsite was so bad that I don’t want anyone else to be as disappointed as we were. Ironically, when looking at the campsite reviews, a very similar review was posted on Good Friday last year. Definitely one to avoid. 👍🏻

A very friendly welcome and a fantastic gorgeous campsite. We pitched over looking the pond and it was a fantastic view. The toilet and shower block were cleaned regularly and the water in the shower was always lovely and hot. Fantastic little extras like a kettle, microwave and fridge that make camping that much easier. Site was well maintained and even had play area to keep the kids entertained.

Great campsite, with stunning views. Great facilities and lovely hosts. Would happily stay again.
