Liked: Short dog walk route and the lakes were nice. Great to have a coffee machine and freezer items available 24 hours. Liked the security gate and the 12 noon check out. Great to have a warden on site. Toilets and showers were lovely and clean. Good to be able to park directly outside the pod.
Disliked: Water in showers needs to be warmer.

Liked: Was an easy stop over for attendance to the game fair so we didn’t spend much time there gladly.
Allows dogs - very dog friendly - the dog walk is nice & secure.Disliked: Crowded - they definitely like to pack people in.
Fully serviced pitches are on a gravelled car park with the smallest pitch size on the site - luckily we wasn’t planning on staying longer than 2 nights! Asked for an awning pitch - not enough space due to the small pitch we were put on the couldn’t have got one up but luckily the weather was fine.
Toilets and showers - not very clean & not enough showers for the amount of people. 2 showers per block (only 2 blocks) the pressure in the shower meant I’d have had a better time washing shampoo off in the sink!

Liked: Friendly small campsite. Quiet even though it was busy. Our Shepherd Hut was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. It had it's own portaloo which was spotless.
Disliked: The communal areas are basic, and even though reasonably clean do not seem sufficient for the campsite

Liked: Plenty of space on Pitch, Grounds well kept and fishing pool and area was particularly nice. Facilities clean and access to site easy.
Disliked: Showers slightly on small side (Big enough for shower itself but no where realy to keep clothes, towel seperate) That said they were clean and hot.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean facilities and good big easily accessible hard standing pitches. Plenty of room for our 7,5m caravan and the Mitsubishi barbarian.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. I have looked into your booking and you had booked a all hardstanding pitch for your two nights, Which can be be more difficult to peg a awning, This is why we also have half and half pitches to accommodate awnings. All on site pitches are a standard size of 9m by 9m and this is bigger than the recommended size by camping and caravanning.
During your weekend stay, We had onsite cleaners every day. We also have ten showers on site, five in each field including five in the field you had pitch in. We are sorry you felt water pressure was low, If we had been made aware of low water pressure, we could of then dealt with the reason behind it.
As a team we do our best to insure guests happiness, Unfortunately this time this did not happen when you requested a grass pitch because you prefer grass, we could not assist due to a full site.
