Helpful staff, I had booked a hard pitch , but found there was no grass by it for dogs , so they offered alternative

The washing up sinks were very dirty and had obviously not been cleaned for days. I had to clean them before use

Lots of families and kids running about screaming which ruined our peace

Showers in loo block a bit cramped with no handing for dry items which have to be left on hooks in common area which was dirty due to other guests on site coming in with muddy footwear

One family had an open fire outside which was smoky and then brought a large TB outside to plug in and watch a football match loudly in the evening

Nice levelish hard standing pitch.loved the shower and toilets .lovely quite site .nice dog walks .lovely area.nice fishing lakes.

I was late arriving due to an unavoidable issue where I was working. The lady who let me in was very accommodating

The site is clean and well lit. The grounds are well maintained. The toilet and shower block were very clean.
My sister was able to take our gate pass and direct us to our pitch as we arrived late because of traffic. I’m not sure what would’ve happened if we hadn’t known anyone already on site.

Be aware that they do not sell camping gas on site, and looked puzzled when asked for it. In the ladies the hand dryer didn’t work in the evenings and the remote sensor for the lights can’t be triggered while on the loo. This meant the lights often went off and you have to sit in the dark.

Lovely campsite very well run the toilets and showers was all lovely and well kept despite the heavy rain we had all day Saturday it was a joy to camp there will definitely be returning..

Nothing to dislike..

The location was excellent. Very friendly staff. Sophie was excellent.

Hard standing pitch with grass wasn’t great - looked like you'd expect it to at the end of season, not the start.
The grass pitches on the other field looked much better.
Seemed to be a stay over for workers which was off putting for me on holiday.

We were pitched on what looked like a car park. It was just chippins with nothing to mark out pitches. Also if you were not in the shower by 8.30 all the hot water had gone and you had to have a cold shower. There was no drying area in the shower either.
